The Naiad

naiad

riding naked rainbows
her hair blazing copper
squashing angels with one hand
and with the other
doodling shapes in the blood of the universe
like an old shaman
cursing
and swearing
and shielding herself
from baby unicorns
swarming thirsty to her nipples
covering her eyes from
incoming darkness
pushed on the edge
of an Unwanted Rose
guarded by a billion butterflies
she was braiding with
patience
and wisdom
and madness
the unending
tapestry of lust
